Farewell to Retiring Employee at Ellicott
On July 6, 2023, the staff at Ellicott Center on Seventh Street in Buffalo wished a happy retirement to Activities employee Marta Ortiz. Marta was highly loved throughout the 160-bed skilled nursing facility, always keeping residents happy and giving them options to keep them busy. Long-time Recreation Director Stephanie Robinson threw Marta a beautiful farewell bash, and everyone came out to say thank you and good luck to Marta.

There will be progress, setbacks and difficult days along the way. Our job is to be there through all of it, and to help each patient or resident get as far as he or she can.
Sometimes that progress comes in large steps. More often, it comes in small ones. Either way, every step matters.
