Mardi Gras 2023 at Corning Center

On Tuesday, February 21, Corning Center on First Avenue in Corning had a Mardi Gras social where residents enjoyed New Orleans-flavored jazz instrumental music and very tasty lemon bunt cake with hot coffee. As many Mardi Gras events are loud with different colored, outlandish masks, Corning Center took the opposite approach and designed the social as a great time for residents to tell and retell stories from the past. This was all done with many laughs and smiles filling the dining room.
