National Skilled Nursing Care Week at Fulton Center in Gloversville, New York

At Fulton Center in Gloversville, New York, the theme of the 2022 recognition of National Skilled Nursing Care Week during the week of May 9th was American styles through the decades. On Tuesday, May 10, ’70s disco was the theme, and the nursing staff could not wait to get dressed up. The next day was Patriotic Day, so red, white, and blue were the colors throughout the facility. For ’60s, it was common to see tie-dye and peace signs on clothes and jewelry. The entire week was full of activities, thanks to Recreation Director Lona Bleyl and her team, who worked hard to make it open for the nurses. Then live music during an outside BBQ by local band and DJ, Rockin’ Rob, A great time for the nurses, who have also worked hard all year ’round.

As seen both on FOX56 WOLF TV and WCAX-TV
