Halloween Fun at Northern Riverview
Residents at Northern Riverview had a Spooktacular time on Halloween this year. Lori Silverstein’s Recreation Department in the 180-bed nursing and rehabilitation center on Route 9W in Haverstraw had the residents create handheld happy puffy ghosts which they can hang up in their rooms. Lori’s department also had a pumpkin bean bag throwing toss in the dining room and many residents loved it and laughed as they tried to get the bean bag through the pumpkins mouth. With so many activities, the residents had an appetite for delicious chocolate Halloween cake. Residents Sheila Kaminsky loved her Halloween cake while wearing her bumblebee ears, Virginia Honan made some great puffy ghosts and Kathy Yaeger, in her pink hat, was great at pumpkin bean bag throwing.
