On August 9 in Otsego County, New York, the Otsego County Council of Senior Citizens had their Senior Picnic In The Park at Glimmerglass State Park’s West Pavilion, and, according to Centers Health Care, which was one of the sponsors of this year’s picnic, the event drew more than 200 people. The seniors had a great time, and they all received a black backpack, courtesy of Centers Health Care and the Cooperstown Center. Many activities took place throughout the day, including Bingo, a guided stroll and hike, corn hole, pitch, and other card games. Music was supplied by DJ Jim Horn, and an Otsego County Dairy Ambassador distributed the ice cream.
