When Rick was admitted to Wichita Center, he could hardly breathe. he was suffering from respiratory failure, and in addition to his trouble breathing, he was extremely tired, his blood pressure very low. He was also experiencing periods of confusion.
The team at Wichita Center created an action plan for him and had him in therapy within 24 hours of his arrival. Physical therapists worked to make him stronger, the medical team oversaw his medication, and social workers met with him daily.
\"Thanks to the folks at Wichita Center, the oxygen is flowing smoothly through my lungs and into my bloodstream. Thanks for taking care of me, and giving me my breath back.\"
