Vitamin and Mineral Deficiencies

Residents at Northern Riverview on Route 9W in Haverstraw got very busy on April 3rd to celebrate the upcoming Easter holiday by doing an arts and crafts painting session. In the morning, residents began with an Easter coloring sheet and later after lunch, they all joined for the celebration. Organized by Recreation Director Lori Silverstein and her team, the celebration began with an educational section as there was a discussion about the meaning of Easter. Following the discussion, more creativity as residents started painting their own Easter eggs. Residents even did an Easter egg hunt and contest where the first floor residents found the most eggs. The residents also enjoyed themselves by singing religious-themed music. Lightheartedly, a humorous discussion broke out about eating too many Easter chocolates and everyone later in the day enjoyed a delicious cake that inscribed Happy Easter and Happy Passover, plus cupcakes provided by the facility’s Chef Rob. In the evening, Easter-themed movies were on the bill for all those who loves watching the meaning of Easter.
