Chubby Checker Dance at Warren

At Warren Center in Queensbury, the facility had a fun Chubby Checker dance contest to mark the 60th Anniversary of “The Twist” on January 14th, where both residents and staff twisted the day away! The contest included anyone who were brave enough to show off their stuff on a red runway. Prizes went to multiple winners. Residents who couldn’t walk still wanted to Twist so thanks to the staff who helped them. Even the Director of Nursing created some early 60s costumes on a sewing machine for the contest.
