Smiles at Corning Center
At Corning Center in Corning, New York, both staff and residents have been smiling since the new NY state mandate in February went into effect that called for the lifting of the mask requirements for staff workers and anyone entering hospitals and nursing facilities statewide. This, of course, leaves it up to each facility to craft its own rules for mask-wearing based on case levels. In this March 24, 2023 photo, Corning Center is free of COVID. Corning Center continues to follow all Department of Health and CDC guidelines.
