Therapy Pigs Return to Slate Valley
On April 8, 2023, the pigs returned to visit the residents at Slate Valley Center in Granville, New York, for the first time since before the pandemic, and what a beautiful site it was to see. From the great folks at Traveling Therapy Pigs, Director Terry Hutchinson brought her two famous pigs, Albert EinSwine and Tamme Swine-ette, and the 88-bed nursing facility residents were full of laughs and love for these stink-less farm friends. Slate Valley Center Recreation Director Andrea Kelley loved the visit so much that Terry’s pigs will be back on a monthly basis. From left to right, residents Joan Hall, Mike Bruckner, and Art Norton all had a great time.
