Rob Zollman’s Performance at Slate Valley
On January 12, 2023, Slate Valley Center in Granville welcomed back Rob Zollman, the founder of Whole Music Learning, to educate and entertain the residents of the 88-bed skilled nursing facility on State Route 40. As Mr. Zollman teaches all about the different instruments he brings with him, it is the “Interactive Drums with Rob!” that the residents always love, and the residents bang away to a number of popular songs from years gone by.
“Rob does such a great job getting our residents engaged, and he’s excited about making music together,” said Andrea Kelley, Slate Valley Center’s Recreation Director. “We are excited to have him come regularly now here at Slate Valley Center.”
Mr. Zollman, who hails from Brandon, Vermont, is also the founder of Hands-On Music, a company that does music instruction, and drum circle facilitation, and has music classes for young children, as well as providing instruments and accessories. He gets involved and produces the yearly Vermont Blues Retreat in Brandon, Vermont, which takes place in August. At Slate Valley Center, Rob began coming to the facility in 2022. The residents look forward to his musical events, and he now comes on a monthly basis.
