Shetland the Pony visits Warren Center

On April 14, 2022, Frost, the nine-year-old Shetland pony visited the residents at Warren Center in Queensbury. Frost, all decked out in Easter wear, brought smiles and laughs to both the residents and staff. These days, horse-handler Linda Cole from Kasey’s Cast-a-Ways is making her way back into many skilled nursing facilities throughout New York and there is no other visit than when the pony greets the residents in person, rather than behind a window…. but the window visits were never half bad during the pandemic days. Holly Desnoyers, Warren Center’s Recreation Director, is big on pet or pony therapy so she welcomed Frost with open arms.

As seen both in WRGB CBS 6 News, Albany and WCAX-TV
