Karen Fredhoff: Employee of the Month

Sigma Rehab Health and Centers Health Care have named Deptford Center Occupational Therapist (OT) Karen Fredhoff, COTA/L as the April 2023 Employee of the Month for Week 3 of the month. Ms. Fredhoff has been at Deptford Center in Deptford, New Jersey for two years and she is highly well-loved by her residents and fellow colleagues at the large 240-bed skilled nursing facility on Clements Bridge Road. Asked Karen what inspired her to become a therapist, she said that she had therapy as a teenager and that she wanted to help others the same way that she was helped. Fredhoff also says that encouragement, empathy and increased function of a resident’s physical and psychological well-being are the main points of her job, plus she feels that always a smile, kind words, and overall training as an OT are the areas she gives back to them. Congrats Karen for this distinction!
