Slate Valley Center residents celebrate Independence Day with fireworks arts and crafts session

[L-R: Residents Bonnie Nolette, Karen Steele, and Joan Hall.]

At Slate Valley Center in Granville, New York, residents had a great 4th of July as most of the residents took part in an Independence Day fireworks arts and crafts session. The residents created their own colorful patriotic imagery of what fireworks looked like to them. Later on, they all enjoyed red, white, and blue punch and enjoyed the day together. Over the past few days leading up to the holiday, the residents created patriotic signs and had live music from Laura Collins, Cooie, Uncle Sam O’Phone, and the Old Friends Band prior to Al and Kathy Bain’s live July 4th performance.
