Slate Valley Center Staff Wears Green and Orange to Raise Awareness for Leukemia and Lymphoma

On September 20 at Slate Valley Center in Granville, New York, much of the staff wore green or orange due to September being National Leukemia & Lymphoma Awareness Month by the American Association for Cancer Research. Orange is for leukemia and green for lymphoma. More than 1.6 million people in the U.S. are living with or in remission from leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, myelodysplastic syndromes or myeloproliferative neoplasms.
