University Center Hosts an Amazing Luau Party for August Birthdays
On August 26, University Center on Grand Avenue in the Bronx threw an all-out luau party for the residents who celebrated a birthday sometime in the month of August. The Recreation team took on the fun project by providing incredible upbeat music, a Hawaiian-style BBQ, and all kinds of dancing for the residents and staff. There was a raffle where the winners won a Disney t-shirt. Not only did the staff and residents dance, but the facility’s Administrator Ilan Scher (far right), even had a step or two. All in all, it was an amazing, great time.
