Chef Walter Potenza Thrills Residents and Families at Bannister Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing
Bannister Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing’s partnership with local celebrity chef Walter Potenza paid off for residents and their families at an exciting event today.
Chef Potenza filmed a segment of his cooking show “Flavors & Knowledge” at Bannister Center, with a lively studio audience. The main course was a chicken dish with chickpeas, dried apricots, lemon and spinach. It’s a dish that symbolizes the Italian chef’s passion for healthy Mediterranean-inspired cuisine.
As the large audience enjoyed the proceedings, Chef Walter spoke about the importance of healthy eating, especially as the body ages. Making better food choices and eating a healthy diet is one of the most important things you can do to maintain overall wellness.
Once the cameras were turned off, Chef Potenza took questions from the audience.
